THIS EDITION: BODY
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil - #1: This Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil is amazing. I have gone through multiple bottles of this stuff and gotten my friends and fam hooked on it. I mix it in with some lotion and use it all over and it is so incredibly hydrating and makes your skin so smooth. It is not super greasy when mixed with something and I can totally tell night and day when I don't use this stuff. It is also supposed to help the appearance of stretch marks, scars, uneven skin tone, and aging skin. It's also under $10, so you can't go wrong.
Aquaphor Ointment Body Spray - #2: I love this Aquaphor spray, because I always hated the thick consistently of the regular tubes to use for my body. This spray is perfect for super hydration and sun damaged skin. Another cheaper drug store product, definitely a good find.
Tend Skin Razor Bump Solution - #3: Okay this Tend Skin solution is no joke. I found it after hours searching the internet for something for razor burn. This stuff has AMAZING reviews which is what ultimately sold me. I have also gone through countless bottles of this stuff. I will say they also have a ROLLER BALL VERSION HERE which is super handy especially for travel so I would buy the roller ball first then the regular bottle to refill the roller. I have really bad folliculitis and this was the only thing that helped my legs after shaving, it is one of those miracle products for sure! Also, the more you use it the longer you will see results. Now, after getting the Billie Razor I do not use this stuff, but man does it work.
Lavender Essential Oil Roll On - #4: I bought these after seeing a Lavender essential oil roll on at a boutique in Oklahoma. I love the smell of lavender and I am a big believer in essential oils and their benefits so I knew I would love this. First off, this comes in a two pack so its perfect to keep one in your purse and one at home. I use this stuff behind my ear, on my wrists, and on bug bites! In the summer I get eaten alive and this stuff is the only natural remedy that really works. I just had to go on and purchase this again because I ran out.
Coconut Body Scrub Dead Sea Salt Scrub - #5: I bought this stuff after hearing an influencer rave about it and it is really good! I love the way it makes my skin feel after, because I usually hate the sticky, dry feeling most exfoliators have. This one is awesome at removing left over self tanner and it doesn't feel ruff like its scraping your skin. Not to mention it's a big container with a lot of product, a little goes a long way.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy Cream Soap - #6: This is actually the only bar soap I will use. I absolutely HATE the way that bar soaps make you feel sticky or like there's a residue this one DOES NOT DO THAT! If you can't tell by now I LOVE all the Palmer's products and have never found one that didn't work or I didn't love. This soap smells and feels good. *I purchase this on Amazon, because this stuff is hard to find!*
Self Tanning Mitt Applicator - #7: This is the only tanner mitt I use. It is so soft and not abrasive. Also, I love that it's brown so it doesn't appear so dirty. It also comes with a clear case, perfect for travel and a loop to hang dry it after washing. This one is way better than the other, cheaper mitts I have tried while still being cost effective, under $10!
Sun Bum Cool Down Aloe Vera Gel - #8: I am a huge Sun Bum person. I have struggled a lot with sunscreens and different reactions, but Sun Bum is the only brand I can use that doesn't irritate my skin! This is part of the "cool down" line. This product is actually hypoallergenic and it is an aloe gel, but it DOES NOT have that sticky feeling that cheap aloe does, and it hydrates the skin so well. It also contains cocoa butter, vitamin E, and tea tree oil. I use this and the other cool down lotion in unison and have never peeled even after the worst burns! This stuff is a game changer for sunburns and if you live in the sun you need this!
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy Body Lotion - #9: Another Palmer's product! This is one of the only two lotions that I can/will use on my skin. (The other is the Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter). I have been using this stuff for years and it is so hydrating and smells amazing and works really well with the oil mixed in as well. This lotion is supposed to smooth marks, tone your skin, and improve the appearance of stretch marks, scars, aging, any imperfections.
Loving Tan 2 Hour Express Mousse - #10: This Loving Tan 2 Hour Express is the only self tanner that I will use. It has a very brown, dark color compared to other brands that pull more orange. I love the way it applies and the dark shade is my favorite. I have gone through I think two bottles+ of this stuff, I love it so much! It says it's a 2 hour product, however for a deeper dark developed color I would apply before bed and wash off in the morning. This method definitely works the best to make your tan last the longest. Also always, always, always apply your tanner with a mitt! This is so important for no streaks and no orange hands! Another pro hack is to tan your hands last with the left over tanner then take a baby wipe or makeup wipe and wipe the palms of your hands, cuticle beds, and in between your fingers, places you don't want tanner.
Sun Bum Cool Down Aloe Vera Lotion - #11: This is the only holy grail Sun Bum product. If you are in between the two, I would say to go for this one. It is a soothing and cooling aloe lotion that has cocoa butter and jojoba seed oil in it. It is not greasy at all and is very lightweight. It definitely works to "extend and preserve" your tan! After being in the sun, I use the Sun Bum aloe gel first, then mix in this aloe lotion, and the Palmers Skin Therapy Oil, and use it on top. I have never peeled from a burn after using this stuff and sun burns are no longer painful.
Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer + Firming - #12: This is another product I bought after reading reviews. I love it, I use it after I turn the water off in the shower. You take a tiny amount and use like lotion, there is no rise and no need to dry before use - hint the name wet skin moisturizer. This particular one is a firming one too, not sure if it actually works, but I like the hydration of it. Also, this is not by any means a self tanner but it is a gradual product that builds up over time I am not sure how much total color comes from it because I either have a tan or will be tan in the summer, but I would definitely say it gives some color. Nothing drastic or dark by any means this is something to use in addition to a tan not in replace of one.
